I do not know about you, but my gynecologist has been with me sinceas I turned 30, no, no, yes, I tried to push me to the fact that “I need a second one”. Then, of course, it will be too late. And health is not that, and the likelihood of genetic diseases will increase. But it seems that the 67-year-old Anastasia Ontu gynecologist is more philosophical about age. How else to explain the fact that the other day a woman gave birth?67-year-old Greek woman became a motherPhoto:GettyImagesShe gave birth – and became the oldest surrogate mother in the world. As it turned out, Anastasia decided to carry a child for her daughter Konstantina. She got pregnant seven times. And each attempt ended unsuccessfully. After the last miscarriage, doctors told Konstantina that she would never be able to have children. That's when her mother came to the rescue. The doctor who was monitoring the pregnancy, Konstantinos Pantos, did not immediately agree to such a complicated IVF. He made every excuse and took up the case only after the court decision – yes, the desperate mother took completely unpopular measures! But the doctor can be understood. If even Anastasia's own daughter initially considered her own mother crazy. Then, however, Pantos called his patient heroic. And Konstantina's daughter was incredibly happy. And, as we think, very grateful. In general, the grandmother gave birth to a granddaughter – a girl weighing just over a kilogram was born by Caesarean section ahead of schedule. Anastasia was six weeks shy of nine months. And she broke her predecessor's record - before her, the palm belonged to the Spanish Maria del Carmen Busada Lara, who became a surrogate mother at 66 years and 358 days. The woman had to lie about her age so that she could undergo IVF. Maria gave birth to twin boys. And seven years ago, she died of cancer. By the way, this year there was another record holder - Daljinder Kaur from India gave birth at 72 years old. She managed to conceive with the help of IVF and became the oldest mother in the world.
