In order to qualify for such a high honor, Neapolitan pizza should now comply with a number of standards: not to exceed 35 cm in diameter, the "sides" of the dough at the edges should have a height of 2-3 cm, and the filling of pizza consists of peeled tomatoes, mozzarella, garlic, olive oil, salt and leaves of fresh basil. Pizza can be prepared only in a wood-burning oven, from where it must be extracted at the same time soft and elastic. Ready pizza should be easy to bend, and it should not be subjected to freezing in any case. The victory of the Neapolitan pizza was celebrated 11 years later after a similar confession received by mozzarella cheese.
