Apparently, hooliganism with food products is so widespread among British children that the authorities have been forced to introduce legislation. According to local officials, the unusual rule is already having the desired effect. «I know it seems a bit odd, but it has had a positive effect, as we no longer receive complaints about such incidents», – says Norfolk Police Sergeant Andy Brown. According to Brown, splashing ketchup on the street does not entail criminal liability, but if the sauce damages the paint of a house or car, this could result in charges of causing damage to someone else's property.
