Flooring

Clean floor – clean house. Each floor covering reacts to dirt in its own way. And we choose it depending on the room. For example, in the hallway it is convenient to place a rug on a rubber base, which will not slip, and the short pile will retain moisture and dirt. Such a rug is easy to wash in the machine. Do not forget about the rug in front of the entrance door from the street side: harder, with a pile of coconut cloth or PVC. Parquet and laminate are best suited for the floor in living rooms. Both are easy to care for and have their own characteristics. For example, dust collects in lumps on laminate. Some people find this an eyesore, while others, on the contrary, see this as easy to clean. Parquet without a pronounced texture and grooves will be easier to clean than a complex textured material. Linoleum is one of the most practical flooring materials, but the word itself evokes associations with an ugly brown floor with a welded seam in the middle. Of course, modern linoleum has little in common with those Soviet coverings and today can compete with laminate or even parquet. Linoleum is perfect for rooms where high wear resistance is required, for example, for offices. Tiles are a classic for bathrooms and kitchen areas. Convenience and practicality are undeniable, but keep in mind that the smaller the tile, the more grout seams and, accordingly, more dirt that accumulates in them. Carpet is the most impractical covering, the so-called dust collector, on which dirt easily lingers. It is better to choose carpets with a small pile or small rugs and runners that can be washed in a washing machine.

Kitchen

The kitchen requires constant cleaning, especiallyafter cooking. If you do it right away, dried dirt and ingrained stains will disappear without a trace. It is better to order a work surface made of acrylic stone, agglomerate, glass or concrete. A disaster for the housewife is laminated chipboard, especially dark ones: even after cleaning, traces of dishes and stains remain. An apron made of glass and tiles between the work surface and upper cabinets protects the wall from stains and traces of cooking. But grout requires special care and renewal over time.

Furniture

Glossy surfaces are more difficult to maintain.perfect condition than matte ones. Glossy headsets with a push mechanism need to be polished constantly. It is better if the headset has handles or a matte finish. The most practical tables and other furniture are made of ordinary wood. The color and texture hide minor flaws and dust, and cleaning does not take much time, does not require polishing. For sofas and armchairs, it is better to choose removable covers that can be easily refreshed in the machine, or buy leather ones that can be wiped with a damp cloth.

Accessories

Many small figurines decorate it like thisroom, but wiping dust on them and under them is a laborious and painstaking task. The fewer things, the easier it is to clean. But if you cannot give up your dear jewelry, try to simplify the task for yourself. In stores, there is a special spray that can be applied to items, and dust will not stick to them, but it will not disappear on its own and will settle, for example, on the floor.
