To get rid of dust ingrained in the heavy material, the curtains must first be soaked - several times in plain cold water (you can add soda or salt to it) and several times in slightly warm water with powder. After this - hand or gentle machine wash with a gentle detergent. Do not rub or boil. Rinse - in warm, then in cold water. And no wringing! Let the water drain so as not to damage the texture of the fabric and not stretch it.

Iron organza and tulle at the lowest temperature. By the way, a great way to avoid ironing is to hang washed curtains on the windows wet. How to return tulle to whiteness: "grandmother's" remedies

  • Soak darkened and yellowed cotton tulle in salt water (1 tbsp. salt per 1 liter of water) before washing.
  • Add 1 tbsp of ammonia and 2 tbsp of 3% hydrogen peroxide to hot water and place the carefully straightened tulle in it for 30 minutes, then rinse well.
  • Kitchen Curtains

With kitchen curtains things are much differenteasier than the others. They are usually made of inexpensive cotton or synthetic fabric that can withstand frequent washing. Here are some simple instructions:
