Observe the rule of the working triangle
Its essence is to unite the plate,sink and refrigerator into a single space, saving the housewife's time and energy. In different layout options, the triangle can look different. In a linear one, for example, the third point can be a dining table, which can be used as an additional work surface - just like in a kitchen with an island. L-shaped and U-shaped kitchens allow you to distribute the work triangle in large spaces so that everything is at hand. And in a parallel kitchen layout, it is advantageous to distribute the work triangle in this way: on one side - a stove and a sink, and on the other - a refrigerator and a work surface.
Choosing a convenient headset
In the lower bases, pay attention to the triplesdrawers with different fillings to make the most of the volume and have easy access to the contents. It is better to make the width of the lower drawers no more than 90 cm, so as not to overload them too much. A real lifesaver is a flexible system of dividers in the drawers. As for the upper level of the kitchen, both hinged doors and doors with a lifting mechanism are equally convenient there. Everything depends on the chosen style: for classic kitchens, traditional hinged doors 30-60 cm wide are suitable, and for modern ones - wide, upward-lifting facades.
Put everything on the shelves
The kitchen, regardless of its size, should notbe cluttered. In addition to the usual kitchen cabinets, unusual spaces, such as the space under the sink, can help with storing utensils. If the sink and the space under it are corner, it is preferable to choose an L-shaped cabinet. When using a trapezoidal corner cabinet, there is enough space left to use a "carousel" - a rotating section where you can put pots and pans. Today, there are many additional storage elements: mesh roll-out baskets, stationary holders or containers attached to the walls of cabinets and doors.
We combine chandeliers and sconces
The kitchen is a multifunctional space,where you can cook, relax, and receive guests. Therefore, there should be several lighting scenarios here. For receiving guests, you should provide general bright light, for cooking - bright light in the kitchen unit area, and for cozy gatherings - sconces in the dining table area.
We decorate the room
You can move away from the usual mounting optionmagnets on the refrigerator and create a special magnetic wall. It can be made either from a sheet of metal painted in the color of the walls, or using magnetic paint or vinyl film with a magnetic coating.
