To improve the quality of washing, not necessarilypurchase a super-expensive washing machine or fancy cleansers. It is enough to adhere to these simple rules, thanks to which clothing will look much better.Photo:Getty ImagesWhile you spent years sorting through piles of dirty laundry, trying to separate light and dark, delicate and ordinary items, the professionals just laughed and kept the secret of perfect washing to themselves. But we decided to reveal all the secrets, thanks to which you can even love this process. And we are not joking! Do not wash things if you only wore them onceYou will be surprised, but the professionals advise not to send clothes to the wash every time, but recommend waiting. What? Of course, if your clothes emit a very unpleasant smell that can be felt at a distance of 10 meters, then the clothes should be urgently tidied up. But experts say that shirts, dresses and jeans can be worn more than once before they need cleaning. In addition, think about how much water and electricity you can save if you run the washing machine less often. Sort clothes according to a different principleWere you also taught to sort dirty clothes by color and quality of material? But experts suggest changing the traditional approach and putting clothes in two piles: "bad" and "no big deal." The bad category includes things that have an unpleasant smell, dirty stains, children's clothes, bed linen, light-colored underwear, socks and towels. All these items should be washed as often as possible to avoid the negative impact of microbes on the body. The second category, accordingly, includes those things that you think need cleaning, but look pretty good. These are jeans, trousers, shorts, dresses that you have worn only a couple of times, and so on. Experts warn that hot water and excessive amounts of detergents can lead to deformation and rapid wear of clothes. Be gentle with delicate itemsLace underwear, woolen items and other clothes made of delicate fabrics are best washed as gently as possible. For example, if you just throw your bras in the drum of the washing machine, you risk getting deformed cups with a bunch of folds, which, just for a minute, will stand out under any clothes. You don’t want such an effect, do you? Therefore, women's underwear should be washed in a special bag at low temperatures (it is generally advisable to do this by hand). And woolen items - in cool water, then carefully place on a terry towel (without wringing too much, so as not to spoil the item) and leave in this form until it dries.
