Homemade honey cakeHomemade honey cake: recipeWe will need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 100 g of butter
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. no top soda
  • 3.5 cups of flour

For cream:

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 300 g of butter
  • Mix 2 eggs with a glass of granulated sugar.

  • In a small saucepan, dissolve 100 g of butter over the fire. Add eggs with sugar and 3 tbsp. honey
  • Put in a water bath

  • Add 2 tsp. soda (no top!). After the water boils, boil for 5 minutes.
  • Add 1.5 cups of flour, stir with a fork or mixer, keep in a water bath for another 7-10 minutes

  • Slide 2 cups of flour on the table

  • Pour honey over the flour. Grate the dough (be careful not to burn your hands). The dough will turn out hard as plasticine. The easiest way to handle it is until the dough has cooled. Do not waste time!

  • Divide the dough into 5-6 equal parts

  • From each part roll out the cake, withlarge dishes cut out even circles, put each on a sheet of foil (do not lubricate with oil). We bake each cake for 5-7 minutes in an oven heated to 180 degrees.
  • We do not throw away the trimmings, collect them and roll them into a small cake that we also bake.

  • From butter and cans of condensed milk, whip cream

  • Lay out the first cake on a dish, moisten with water, apply a layer of cream, cover with the second cake and so on.
  • The last cake is also coated with cream (do not forget about the edges!).

  • We crush a small cake into a crumb and sprinkle the whole cake with this crumb.
  • We remove the finished cake in the fridge for 8-12 hours so that the cakes are soaked.
