September 26 last year turned life aroundAustralian Anderson family. Four cars collided on the Pacific Highway. In the ill-fated accident, 80-year-old Kay Anderson died. Her daughter Kylie and grandson escaped with minor injuries, but 6-year-old McKinley was almost in the balance of death. She received a severe head injury - she had 99 percent of her brain affected. The pelvis was also broken, the internal organs suffered, the hip was sprained and broken.A photo: Getty Images Doctors prepared her mother for the worst in advance. After the 13-hour operation, they predicted life for the girl as a plant: he would not speak, he would not be able to feed herself. And, of course, there was no talk about the restoration of motor functions. A miracle should happen, the doctors believed, if the girl just survived. And the miracle happened ... The Anderson family didn’t allow for a minute that McKinley wouldn’t. Relatives believed that they could pull their beloved baby out of the clutches of death. After the hardest operation, she spent five and a half months in the hospital. The support of others and the strong character of the girl helped her successfully undergo rehabilitation. As soon as the girl got a little stronger, she challenged the doctors. More than anything, she wanted to get up and return to her friends at school.Photo:Getty ImagesAfter 8 months of rehabilitation, the girl took her first steps! The small but incredibly brave baby amazes with her courage. Overcoming pain and suffering, she confidently walked towards her goal - constant sessions with a physiotherapist became a real chance for her to return to her previous life. And, of course, the love of her mother, who was always there and is now very proud of her brave daughter. "Every day McKinley amazes me with her determination. Doctors always say that she can't do anything, and the next day she goes and does it," Kylie Anderson's mother told the Daily Mail, not holding back tears.
