Closet compartment inner fillingCupboard compartment interior fillingthere will be an internal filling, the more convenient and rational the cabinet will be. Just imagine the absence of such a familiar and comfortable piece of furniture as a wardrobe! We, ordinary people, would have to store their belongings where necessary. Yes, not very convenient ... However, in even more unenviable position would be writers. Indeed, where would they place the entrance to a magical land and a place to hide family secrets? But this is all fantasy. The realities are such that the absence in the right place of at least one cabinet can disorganize the life of the whole family. Judge for yourself. If the closet is not provided in the hallway, it remains to place coats and jackets on open hangers. Uncomfortable and a little aesthetic. There is no wardrobe in the bedroom - therefore, we are looking for a place for numerous clothes and attributes of a comfortable life in chests and nightstands. Probably, to continue the story about what life would be like in the absence of cabinets, it is not worth it. It is much more interesting to talk about life in their presence.

  • Photo 1. For haberdashery, a box with high walls is optimal, for shirts and sweaters - a pull-out tray.
  • Photo 2. Partially built-in cabinet can be supplemented with side radii shelves. So we will provide additional storage space.
  • A photo 3. An alternative to a cloakroom elevator is a clothes bar located at a similar height, and a special handle with a "hook" at the end, with which the hanger can be lowered to the required level and lifted back.

Procedure

  • First, we visit (virtually or in reality) several companies that produce these furnishings. This way, we will find out the completeness of the offers and preliminarily estimate the cost of services.
  • If the company is listed as an official dealer of a foreign firm, we clarify whether this is actually the case by calling the representative office.
  • Определившись с производителем, вызываем конструктора. Он выберет место для установки шкафа, перечислит варианты его отделки и наполнения, снимет окончательные «мерки».
  • Уже в салоне нам должны предложить проект, а after its clarification and approval - an estimate for production. After which all that remains is to pay the invoice and wait for delivery. The wait can last up to 1.5 months.
  • When the cabinet is finally assembled, we accept the work and sign the acceptance certificate.
  • As time and experience show, the closet, or rather,A sliding wardrobe is an optimal “manager” of space. Firstly, such a piece of furniture is designed and manufactured for a specific room and specific needs. Need a wardrobe for outerwear? Please. Do you think it might be worthwhile to provide shelves for shoes? No problem. Secondly, there is always a choice: you can order a fully built-in wardrobe and save on the material of the walls, or give preference to a separate item and take it with you when you move. Naturally, having disassembled it first. Thirdly, the doors in a sliding wardrobe are usually sliding. And they, as you know, “eat up” less space than hinged ones. But let’s take everything in order. After all, no matter how simple the model of a “keeper of things” is, this simplicity is only apparent. In reality, there are many components: a frame (if provided), doors, guides, “filling”. Let’s try to choose the elements of our future sliding wardrobe together.

    • Photo 1. Due to the fact that the aluminum profile withstands a very heavy load, the decor of the door leaf can be very diverse.
    • Photo 2. Simple in design, but extremely functional open box for laundry helps to keep order in the closet, and in addition, quickly find the necessary things.
    • Photo 3. Due to the open storage in the honeycomb box in a few minutes, you can find any thing.

    In profile and full face

If you use a niche for a wardrobe oralcove, then we will have a full-fledged one at our disposal. Side panels (walls), roof and floor (or, more simply, the body) fastened with ties or corners are laid on the wardrobe only if it is a free-standing piece of furniture. The material for their manufacture is usually chipboard (Anons, Evropa, Sputnik Furniture, Mr.Doors, Odalia, Russia; Komandor, Canada; Stanley, Great Britain), less often - MDF (LUMI, Russia; Estrade, Villa, Finland; Hülsta, Germany) or solid wood (LUMI; Paolo Marchetti, Italy). Melamine or laminate (for chipboard), veneer (for chipboard and MDF) are offered as finishing materials. The ends of the panels are covered with PVC edging (chipboard, MDF) or edging made of natural wood (MDF).

    • Photo 1. If the room is not too large, you can choose a corner wardrobe. Thanks to this decision, we will have at our disposal a kind of mini-wardrobe.
    • Photo 2. Filling elements allow you to place in the closet, not only shoes, but small items.
    • Photo 3. The drawer - cassette - divided into corresponding compartments is a rational element for storing ties, socks and scarves.

Sliding wardrobe doors are also “complex”construction. The panel is held by a frame (profile) made of steel or aluminum. For reference: if a company produces sliding wardrobes, it is not at all necessary that it also produces profiles. The overall weight of the structure, as well as the load on individual elements of the sliding wardrobe, can be reduced by making the main door leaf thinner than the body. Many work quite openly with products from third-party companies. Among the latter, we note Raumplus (Germany) and DSH (Canada), whose frames are deservedly popular with the masters of Russian "wardrobe construction". Mr.Doors and Simplex (Russia) have their own steel profiles. The first has "Largo" and "Arredo", the second - "Steel Classic" and "Steel Exclusive". An aluminum profile is more expensive, but also not uncommon in the range of sliding wardrobe manufacturers. This material is used as a basis for products under the brands Komandor, Stanley and Neves (France), it is used in the "Aldo Furniture Studio" (Russia), and is given due credit in the companies LUMI, Mr.Doors and Simplex. Thus, in the "Aldo Furniture Studio" for the production of cabinets they use Raumplus frames, in Mr.Doors and Simplex - their own profiles "Noteborn" and Simline respectively. MDF and solid wood are used less often for the production of frames. The Estrade factory works with MDF, with wood, or rather, with its own system of wooden profiles called Arborum - LUMI.

    • Photo 1. The total absence of daylight in the dressing room can be compensated for by the rational placement of several special halogen lamps.
    • Photo 2. The basis for the filling elements can be not only partitions from chipboard, but also aluminum racks, which, thanks to the fittings, contain boxes, shelves and various hangers.
    • Photo 3. If the wardrobe is designed for the living room, it can be supplemented with a corner cabinet and a rack. There is always a place not only for photographs, but also for technology.

Width Will the closet extend from the wall towalls or occupies only a small corner of the hallway, depends on the specific situation: the free space, the number of family members and its financial prosperity. The life of the chosen profile depends on its service life. For a more affordable steel frame, it is approximately seven years, for aluminum it is about 25 years. Time, which will serve the profile of the array of wood, depends on a number of factors. The quality of processing of the starting material (drying, finishing) influences much. Its role is played by the conditions of furniture operation. If the humidity in the room is high, and ventilation leaves much to be desired, the tree, and with it the closet, will be deformed. However, fans of ekostyle can limit themselves to a frame made of aluminum or MDF. Among the coatings offered for these skeletons, there are not only films and paints, but also veneers (Ecalum, Russia, LUMI). Height To fully utilize the volume reserved for storing things, the cabinets are designed to height to the ceiling. But the doors, unfortunately, are limited in height. At different manufacturers, the maximum varies between 2.5-2.7 m. If the ceilings in the room are higher, you can close the "rest" with false panels or make a mezzanine with separate doors. The second component of the doors of the sliding-door wardrobe is the already mentioned panel or facade. An example of an economical variant can be a laminated or veneered particle board of Russian or foreign origin. Import, of course, more expensive. Among other proposals - MDF, plastic, metal, mirror and glass. With the last two, it should be noted, manufacturers of closets experiment literally tirelessly. They are decorated with colored pads, tinted, engraved, decorated with sandblasting. It happens that even famous artists are attracted to such purposes. True, the cost of their services is very high. And this can not be ignored, stopping to look at the author's works. And one more thing: the design of the panels directly depends on the profile material. Aluminum withstands more load, therefore, the decor of the door leaf can be more intricate and combine heterogeneous materials, and in any combination. Price We calculate a two-winged wardrobe for the hallway in a one-room apartment of the P-44T series. Its height is 2.6 m, width - 1.4 m, depth - 0.65 m. The cabinet will be fully built-in with steel frames. One door leaf is supposed to be made of German laminated chipboard, the other - to make a mirror. Shelves and partitions will be made from Russian chipboard. We will take one section of the cabinet under the outer clothing, the other under the textiles. Below we will provide a shelf for shoes. Estimated cost of this model is 32-33 thousand rubles.

    Like on rails

Sliding wardrobe door is a mustequipped with a sliding or rolling system. For reference: manufacturers use both names. Which one to prefer is a matter of taste. The system is a carriage with rollers, which is built into the frame, and plastic or metal tracks (guides), along which the door leaf moves. In addition, the carriage design provides for special adjustable mechanisms that allow the door to be positioned without distortions. And the most “advanced” mechanisms are equipped with shock-absorbing springs. These springs are called anti-jumping and prevent the rollers from “jumping out” of the guides. Thus, the doors remain in place even when hit.

    • Photo 1, 2. You can diversify the design of door leaves by combining materials.
    • Photo 3. In the luminaires, which are equipped with sliding-door wardrobes, safety halogen bulbs are used.

The buyer is offered a choice of two systemsslip: lower, or the mechanism of a floor rolling, and the top, or roller suspension. More often doors of a case-compartment are equipped by the mechanism of a floor rolling. The principle of its action is that: rollers built into the door frame with a ball bearing mechanism roll on metal guides attached to the base of the cabinet or floor of the room. At the top of the frame there are wheels that together with the upper guide keep the blade from falling.

    • Photo 1. Honeycomb shelves for shoes are easy to operate - just wipe them with a cloth.
    • Photo 2. Cellular storage systems are assembled on the basis of steel guides and transverse connecting bars, to which special baskets, boxes for linen and shelves are fixed by means of special accessories.
    • Photo 3. In expensive models of sliding-door wardrobes, the frame is made not only by a frame, but also by a number of filling elements, and for glass doors, glass is processed in various ways.

An important element of equipping the closet -built-in lamps that can be located both in front of the dressing room and inside it. The upper sliding system is distinguished by the absence of a lower rail - all the load lies on the top, to which the door leaf is suspended using rollers. Roller suspension is considered more perfect, it's not for nothing that they are equipped not only with storage systems, but also with internal partitions, which have solid dimensions and weight. However, there are disadvantages to this option. So, if the cabinet has no housing and the ceiling in the apartment is not properly leveled, there can be quite obvious problems when using a roller suspension.

    Expand on shelves

If the clothes are planned to be placed parallelwall, the width of the wardrobe will be at least 60 cm; if even millimeters count, the rod is fixed perpendicular to the wall. The "filling" of the wardrobe depends entirely on our desires. An economical option is stationary shelves made of laminated chipboard plus clothes rods of different heights. If there are no problems with finances, you can pay attention to metal (honeycomb) baskets and pull-out shelves. Here, as in the case of frames: most manufacturers of wardrobes do not produce honeycomb storage systems themselves, but use products from specialized factories. Systems from Vibo (Italy), Elfa (Sweden), Reval and Incomaq (Brazil), Lemax (China) deserve attention. Another option is mobile storage systems ("Antonius" from IKEA, Sweden; Norscan from Mr.Doors). They include various consoles, shelves, guides and sections with and without wheels. This is a kind of construction kit that can be assembled and rebuilt as needed. However, such systems are designed more for wardrobes.

    • Photo 1. Even plasterboard partitions can serve as a frame for a wardrobe or dressing room.
    • Photo 2. Special retractable hangers are optimal for storing trousers, skirts and ties.
    • Photo 3. The more there are partitions and drawers, as well as special elements of filling, the more expensive will be the closet.

But I want to provide in the closet something besidestraditional boxes and shelves, because the range of offers is unusually wide. There are regular, swivel and telescopic shelves for shoes, retractable and rotatable trouser hangers, carousel for the shoulders, a variety of baskets for knitwear, boxes with dividers, carrousel, fan, hanging holders for ties, scarves and belts, mechanical and electrical wardrobe lifts ... In short, everything to ensure that the storage space for things was organized with maximum convenience. The editors thank Lumi, Mr.Doors, Paolo Marchetti, Vellamo Scandinavian Design Service, furniture factories Dyatkovo, Sputnik Furniture and Europe, Hülsta's office for assistance in preparing the material.
