Legendary personality
Usually designers hang it on theirInternet sites provide very scant information: born, studied, implemented such and such projects… Irena Barene has it different: instead of dry biographical data, there is a fascinating story about her family. It begins intriguingly: «I was born in Moscow, in a house built by my parents…» Then – there is more: a French grandmother in a dacha near Moscow, a Russian grandfather against the backdrop of the Alps, and other amazing, «not from our life» details. Later, during a personal meeting with the designer, it turned out that the house stood in the village of Troitse-Lykovo, which is indeed located within the city limits of Moscow. The grandfather met the grandmother during a business trip abroad and was not afraid to bring his foreign wife to the USSR. These facts are omitted on the site – Legend always speaks louder than facts.

«Legend– is the same story, butrethought, presented in a romantic key, - says the designer. - It is born and lives in your heart, helping to preserve the memory of the past and find your place in the present. Irena knows what she is talking about. Her current business comes from her childhood. An old photograph of an Alpine chalet, against the backdrop of which her grandparents were once captured, sank deep into her soul. Now she is building a chalet in the Moscow region. She has already completed more than one hundred and fifty projects, including a house in the village of Sosnovy Bor in 2014.
