When the girl grew up a little, she and the dog developed a Sunday tradition: watching cartoons together in the morning. The baby would sit on the Labrador. She didn't mind. They were always together: riding in the car, playing, lying on the couch. They even went to school together! "They are best friends. I take my words back," the girl who was against having a dog in the house repented. The years passed. The girl grew up, and the dog grew old. But even though the black dog suddenly grew a gray beard, they didn't love her any less. And how can you not love a Labrador who is ready to dress up as a princess, just so that her little friend is happy? When they both turned 10, the dog needed an operation: a tumor needed to be removed. Benign, fortunately. While the still very weak dog was recovering from anesthesia and recovering from the operation, the girl did not leave her side. She even fell asleep next to the dog's bed, right on the floor. "If this is not friendship, then I don't even know what it should look like," the girl's aunt admitted.
