Workbooks at school: Do you need to buy them?

Parents should not buy books. It was found out definitively and irrevocably about five years ago. Sometimes, however, it is necessary. But workbooks for books are forced to buy constantly. Say, the textbook itself we have. But you can not study without a notebook bound to it. There, after all, all the tasks! Someone from the parents pays silently, someone tries to fight ... But it ends all the same: you have to run around the bookstores of the city to find that notebook. And not the fact that it will turn out. If the school includes a notebook in a mandatory list, then it must ensure their purchase, ensure the existence of a notebook. But we must proceed from the need to use them. Because you can teach without a workbook, and many do. However, sometimes there is really a 100 per cent need for a notebook to be. If there is such a need, then, of course, the school should buy them. It sounds beautiful and authoritative. And what in life? And in life, parents spread from 800 to 3500 rubles per notebook. And this is in elementary school! And those who pay 3,500 are sure that the quality of their children's education is several times higher (the teacher is a good student, she was able to convince). And this is despite the fact that the provision of schoolbooks with teaching aids, including workbooks, has been legislatively regulated. In accordance with Art. 35 of Federal Law No. 273-FZ of December 29, 2012 "On Education in the Russian Federation", the school (state, municipal means) should provide the student with textbooks, manuals, educational materials and other necessary things, including boards, desks and mela. Often teachers start to convince, as if to buy a notebook - a duty of parents. What are you doing? School principals and teachers are absolutely certain that they are not entitled to insist on purchasing workbooks. Then why is the question still relevant and parents are forced to spend thousands every year to buy teaching aids? Teachers who managed to talk are sure that with the workbooks the child learns more interestingly - there are a lot of pictures, assignments. Yes, and that the sin is concealed, it's easier for the teacher himself: the child does not need to be forced to draw a line from A to B - everything is drawn in the workbook, each card is prepared for assignments ... So the teacher offers to buy a set of benefits for a certain amount, and a rare parent will refuse (am I the enemy of my child?). However, many among teachers and opponents of workbooks. Like, they do not allow to develop - the child does not do much himself, but should be able not only to think with his head, but also to think with his hands. And that's right: sometimes the 8-year-old schoolboy does not know how to apply the ruler to the sheet. So how to be? First of all, parents in search of truth should familiarize themselves with the educational program approved by the school's leadership, in which the table provides information on all subjects, textbooks and teaching aids to them. What does this mean for parents? Firstly, the fact that workbooks are not purchased, because the school authorities believe that textbooks are enough for quality education. If you all or most (preferably in the class still agree among themselves) do not want to be spent on benefits in excess of the list approved by the school, no one will be forced to do this.
