- Vitamin A, D, B vitamins;
- Lecithin;
- Iron, potassium, phosphorus, iodine;
- Folic acid.
All these substances are important for properformation of bones and teeth. At the same time, the yolk is high in calories and contains fats. Therefore, it is not suitable for early complementary feeding, for the gastrointestinal tract it will be too much of a burden. You can offer the yolk to the baby when he is seven months old. If parents know that their child is prone to allergies, this period should be shifted to 8-9 months. The egg must be boiled hard, having washed it well beforehand. The first time, the child is given only a sixth of the yolk and the reaction is observed - whether there will be a rash on the skin, abdominal pain or diarrhea. This dose is increased gradually. The whole yolk can be given to the child when he is one year old. As a rule, it is well kneaded and mixed with vegetable puree. The child is offered it no more than twice a week. Chicken eggs can be safely replaced with quail eggs. They are less allergenic and are in no way inferior to chicken eggs in terms of the content of nutrients. Quail eggs are smaller in size, so for the first acquaintance you can give not a sixth, but a fourth part. If the child refuses to try a new product for him, there is no need to insist. You can thoroughly mix the yolk with the main dish or wait until the baby shows interest in it himself. Read also:
