US Air Force pilot Emily Likhan and Marine JoshuaNewville turned out to be saturated. They merried. Everything is as expected: a white dress, flowers, open-air registration, an officer instead of a priest (military after all!), Who reads the traditional words, guests wipe tears of emotion. A special guest at the ceremony was a four-year-old Gage, the groom's son from his first marriage.1/4Photo: @emily.leehanPhoto: still from videoPhoto: still from videoPhoto: @emily.leehanThe boy made everyone’s day, outshining both the bride and groom. He showed up to the ceremony wearing a Darth Vader mask: Gage is a Star Wars fan, so he wore the best he had to the party. He looked great, everyone liked it. As did the fact that Gage showed up to the sounds of the Imperial March. Then the ceremony itself began. After the priest’s words, the newlyweds solemnly vowed to be together in richer and poorer, in sorrow and in joy – everything as it should be. And then Emily said another vow, intended for another important man in her life – her stepson. The bride vowed to love Gage like her own son. “And even though I didn’t give you life, but life gave me you. Oh, baby, darling, don’t cry!” – something clearly went wrong. Yes, that’s where the boy couldn’t take it anymore, buried his face in Emily’s dress and burst into tears, without even listening to the end of the vows. The newly-made stepmother hugged him tightly, picked him up in her arms. And so she finished reading her vows to her stepson – holding the boy in her arms. “The whole day was emotional, and Gage just couldn’t handle it,” smiled Joshua, the baby’s dad. Well, after that, everyone completely forgot about the newlyweds – until the party itself. Everyone vied with each other to tell Gage what a wonderful baby he was. And that it was he who made the ceremony incredibly touching and memorable. The hero of the day, what can I say! By the way, the boy doesn’t give up on his real mother at all. He will live with his father and his new wife all the time, and Gage will visit his mother as often as possible.
