What is imaginary pregnancy
It is a complex mental disorder thatentails a number of changes in the physiological state. Usually, imaginary pregnancy manifests itself in women with a weak nervous system: most often in young girls who have not yet given birth, less often in experienced ladies. Studies have shown that the symptoms of a false position are most often experienced by women who are eager to feel the state of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood. As well as ladies who have pregnant or just given birth friends. Changes in hormonal levels caused by experiences, stress, increased anxiety and emotionality cause the development of an imbalance. This, in turn, causes the appearance of a complex of symptoms characteristic of pregnant women. Interestingly, men whose wives are carrying their child can also show signs of imaginary pregnancy. The reason for this is the state of deepest empathy for their other half.
Imaginary pregnancy: symptoms
In this condition, imaginary expectant mothers canfeel all the signs of pregnancy both on the emotional and physiological level: - frequent mood swings, emotionality, capriciousness; - complete or partial cessation of menstruation. The cycle is restored only after medical assistance; - signs of toxicosis appear: drowsiness, morning sickness, vomiting, sensitivity to odors, increased salivation; - as with a real pregnancy, the tummy begins to round out. The curvature of the spine changes. The breasts swell, colostrum may be released; - it is not often that imaginary pregnancy in women even causes a feeling of fetal movement. The state of imaginary pregnancy most often passes without consequences. But this requires the participation of a competent gynecologist and psychologist who will return the woman to a normal state. The menstrual cycle will resume with the amount of discharge corresponding to the norm. To maintain mental balance when coming out of a state of imaginary pregnancy, women are in dire need of understanding and support from their loved ones.See also:
