Why gifted children in adulthood are lost
The development of children is uneven, thereforethe practice of identifying talent at an early age is incorrect. It's bad when a child is defined as a gifted person, and after a while he shows the standard abilities, but he must carry an increased load. An unhealthy environment is created, when nervous breakdowns and undermined health are possible. But even a really gifted kid after graduation sometimes does not justify the hopes that teachers and parents put in him. The three main factors can be reduced to the reasons for the poor adaptation of a brilliant child in adulthood:
- uneven growth of abilities, interfering with the normal socialization of an adult;
- education in a special school, where children learn a certain mindset, and the subsequent transfer to the environment of ordinary people;
- undeveloped volitional qualities.

The need for creativity, own initiative, independence is not encouraged. An undeveloped strong-willed sphere prevents the formation of a complete personality. The adult person who was a gifted child is changing the value system. If the life situation becomes unfavorable, the focus is not on talent, but on the desire to survive, to earn money. The problems of gifted children can be solved only through a competent pedagogical approach. After graduation, talented children need state assistance to continue their education and employment.
