The basic behavioral problems of gifted children

Difficult children belong to the disharmonious type of mental development. Harmoniously developed children are friends for everyone. There are gifted students who have no distance from the teacher, wanting to stand out in any way. Such children are not liked in the class, they are beaten. It is very difficult to socialize them, sometimes you have to change several schools.
Why gifted children in adulthood are lost

It is bad when a child is defined as gifted, and after some time he shows standard abilities, but must bear an increased load. An unhealthy environment is created, when nervous breakdowns and undermined health are possible. But even a truly gifted child after finishing school sometimes does not live up to the hopes that teachers and parents placed on him. The reasons for the poor adaptation of a genius child in adulthood can be reduced to three main factors:
- uneven growth of abilities, interfering with the normal socialization of an adult;
- education in a special school, where children learn a certain mindset, and the subsequent transfer to the environment of ordinary people;
- undeveloped volitional qualities.
When a child studies at school, his assessmentabilities are developed in accordance with how he assimilates the material, and does not create something himself. The need for creativity, personal initiative, independence is not encouraged. An underdeveloped volitional sphere interferes with the formation of a holistic personality. An adult who was a gifted child changes his value system. If the life situation becomes unfavorable, it is not talent that comes to the fore, but the desire to survive and earn money. The problems of gifted children can only be solved through a competent pedagogical approach. After finishing school, talented children need state assistance to continue their education and find employment.
