VDNKh
Фото:Press service of VDNKhThis year, the Ferris wheel was demolished and some of the slides were removed, now there is nothing to remind you of them. In their place, lawns were laid and asphalt was laid for parking. But there are still enough rides left at VDNKh. Now they are all located to the left of the main entrance. They range from the smallest ones, such as the "Merry Train", "Butterflies" or "Ducklings", to those where children under 10 are not allowed. If earlier the Ferris wheel was visible from afar, now for all thrill-seekers the main landmark is the free-fall tower, which imitates a long parachute jump. Its height is 52 meters. It rises above the other rides, and is especially visible in the evening, when the backlight is turned on. During the day, the tower is easy to recognize by the crowd watching the daredevils from the ground, and the screams of the bravest. In terms of height, only the "Condor" carousel can compete with it. Not enough adrenaline? This is the place for you. It looks impressive from below, when the boat-shaped cabins rise to a bird's eye view and then start spinning. But in reality, it's not breathtaking. It's confusing that the park's opening hours are not written anywhere. And the prize attractions from the "puncture three balloons and get a teddy bear" series are also very annoying. They are very persistent in calling you to participate in them. Also at VDNKh, next to the "Cosmos" pavilion, they installed children's slides in the form of space objects. There is one for every age: a rocket, a lunar rover, a satellite. Opening hours: usually from 11:00 to 21:00. How much does it cost: from 150 to 400 rubles. How to get there: VDNKh metro station, to the left of the central entrance.
Izmailovsky Park
Photo:Press service of Izmailovo ParkThere are several amusement park areas here. The largest one is closer to Partizanskaya metro station. Attrapark is almost the same as VDNKh, only the choice of slides and carousels is more modest. And they look unprepossessing. The main attraction is the Frozen roller coaster. But it is better for older children. Nearby is an area for very young children, Forest of Wonders, with inflatable slides. You can even meet squirrels here. There are also Zabava rides in the northern part of the park. In the central part there is a complex for the little ones, Kroha (this is where they will have a field day), as well as two Ferris wheels: small and large. But they are located away from most of the rides. Opening hours: Monday and Tuesday are days off, Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00.How much does it cost: from 80 to 200 rubles. How to get there: st. m. Partizanskaya or m. Shosse Entuziastov.
Sokolniki Park
Photo:Sokolniki Park Press ServiceThere are only 20 rides here, almost all of them Italian. The standard selection ranges from children's to extreme. The main attraction is the Ferris wheel, one of three located in Moscow. It is 30 meters high and has open cabins. There is an Air Race loop-the-loop ride, similar to the one in New York's Central Park. Another ride that stands out from the crowd is the Kolobok ride; despite its fairy-tale name, it is similar to a training simulator for astronauts. Otherwise, it feels like the rides haven't changed much since I used to come here as a child.Opening hours: weekdays from 11:00 to 19:00, weekends from 10:30 to 20:00. The rides are closed in bad weather. How much does it cost: from 100 to 400 rublesHow to get there: Sokolniki metro station.
Victory Park
Photo:lana1501/Lori photo bankThe range of entertainment here is about the same as in most parks, maybe even more modest. But the owners approached the design with imagination. All the rides are in military style. After all, it is Victory Park. Therefore, they are primarily interesting to boys. If there is a race track, then there is "Tank Battle" (the cars, of course, are repainted in camouflage), an extreme trampoline "Parachutist", a carousel with airplanes "Heavenly Slow-Moving" (while spinning very briskly), a roller coaster turned into an attraction "Armored Train". Posters from the war are hung everywhere: "The Motherland Calls!", "Defend Moscow!" There is a shooting range. Except that I think they went a bit overboard with the name of the fear room, “Faces of War.” Opening hours: 11:00 to 22:00. Cost: 150 to 350 rubles. How to get there: Park Pobedy metro station, to the left of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
Gorky Park
Photo:lana1501/Lori photo bankThis place in the city used to be famous for its extreme rides, but they have been removed from there for five years now. Only entertainment for the little ones remains, and they have been hidden in one of the most remote corners of the park - not far from the Garage. But they are still there. The Mini-Train, a children's Ferris wheel, two carousels with horses. The only thing that stands out from this series is the Boeing 747 simulator. How much: 250-300 rubles. A single bracelet ticket is valid for all rides, which costs 1,500 rubles for an hour and 2,000 rubles for two hours. Each subsequent hour is 50% cheaper.Opening hours: from 11:00 to 22:00.How to get there: Park Kultury and Oktyabrskaya metro stations.
Panda Park in Fili
A photo: press-service of "Panda Park" It is located 15 minutes walk from the central entrance - in the forest zone next to the embankment. It is considered to be the highest in Moscow and even in Russia. It is located on the bank of the Moskva River, from which the head around is even stronger. But it's not necessary to climb to the highest mountain range. The number of routes varied: for the youngest from 4 years - "Children's", for children a little older are "Brave" and "Family". At the same time, adults are not allowed to enter them. In the summer it is worth coming here earlier, since then there can be queues both at the cash desk and about the passing of the attraction. The mode of operation: everyday from 11:00 to 20:00, weekends: from 10:00 to 20:00. 300 to 700 rubles. How to get: st. m. "Bagrationovskaya", go straight on the central avenue of the park "Fili".
