There is a grain of truth - olive oil envelops the mucous membranes and prevents them from drying out. But it itself does not have bactericidal properties, it is used as a base: 1. Mix in equal parts with fresh aloe leaf juice and instill (the plant is more beneficial), but the product causes sneezing and is not recommended for use by infants and children under one year. 2. Add a few drops of an aromatic antiseptic to the olive - tea tree oil (not suitable for children, as it can cause spasms, swelling of the nose). 3. If desired, you can find drops or sprays in vegetable oil at the pharmacy, but with the addition of eucalyptus ether. In the treatment of children under one year, self-medication, especially with essential oils, is not welcomed. To eliminate a runny nose, saline solutions or similar pharmacy drugs are used. In addition, rhinitis is a frequent companion to other health problems; attention should be paid to the underlying cause.
