What is a nervous pregnancy?

It is the hormones that are to blame for the fact that the reaction of the nervous system is excessive. A pregnant woman can very violently react to an accidentally said word or event that previously would not cause her any special emotions. A repeated nervous breakdown during pregnancy, which resulted in the complete restoration of mental health, in a circle of loving people who are ready to support a woman, comfort, calm, can pass without a trace. But if the pregnant woman constantly experiences exhausting mood swings, cries, breaks into hysterics - this is a sign nervous pregnancy. In this case, a woman's help to a woman is necessary, including medication. If nothing is done, the consequences will be severe for both the mother and the newborn.

Consequences of nervous pregnancy

Physiologically heightened emotionalitypregnant women, from the point of view of doctors, is considered normal. However, frequent hysterics and stress are very dangerous. In the first trimester, they can provoke a miscarriage, and in the second and third trimesters - disrupt the normal development of the fetus and its presentation, which will complicate childbirth. In addition, nervous breakdowns during pregnancy are fraught with rapid or premature labor. The child may not cry at birth, which will require resuscitation of the newborn. However, the most dangerous consequences of a nervous pregnancy for a child are:

  • pathology of internal organs, including the heart, kidneys;
  • asymmetry of the location of hands and feet, ears, fingers;
  • fetal hypoxia;
  • upsetting the brain's work up to mental retardation.

Even if serious violations in the formation ofthere will be no fetus, the child can be born whiny, nervous, fearful, easily excitable. He will sleep badly, get annoyed by loud sounds and sunlight, and be afraid of changes in the surrounding environment. In the future, such a child will have difficulties in learning and communicating with others. A pregnant woman should not be nervous. This can lead to irreparable consequences, and sometimes to the loss of the child.
