The babies. They always cry a lot. Or it seems to us that a lot. Do you know what is most difficult? Of course you know. Understand why the baby is crying. There can be many reasons: tired, hungry, too hot, stuffy, wet diaper. And dozens of reasons to whimper. And it happens that the reason for the whimper cannot be found out - the baby is spinning and groaning for no apparent reason.Photo:GettyImagesMelissa Gersin has revolutionized the way babies are calmed. In her line of work, Melissa has dealt with more than one crying baby or two. And she noticed that the same techniques work with them all: rocking, singing the magic "Ah-ah-ah." She also read a study that proved that a baby can be calmed by convincing him that he is back in his mother's womb. Melissa thought about it and decided: something needs to be done. She decided and did it. Melissa came up with a rug called Tranquilo Mat - a tranquilizer mat. In fact, it is a vibrating mattress that allows a baby to feel as if he is back in his mother's womb. Moreover, the rug has several vibration modes. One of them will work. - All the current "calming equipment" like swings and vibrating chairs make nice melodies. “They are cute, but they are not the sounds that babies hear in the womb,” Melissa said. Before birth, children hear “white noise” – the mother’s heartbeat, the sound of blood flowing through the vessels. And it is quite loud – almost as loud as we hear a hair dryer. In addition, chairs and swings are very bulky. And the mat can be rolled up and put in a bag. And yet – by putting the baby in a vibrating cradle, parents break their contact with the baby. And so they can hold the baby in their arms, simply by placing the mat under him. Melissa’s invention was not just appreciated, it was a dizzying success. In just a month, the company that took on the production of the tranquilizer mat sold more than 3.5 thousand mats, earning more than 300 thousand dollars for them. Yes, they are not cheap – about a hundred dollars apiece. But the effect is truly magical. Is it worth it? Decide for yourself. Read more:
