The appearance of the first teeth in a baby is a serious eventa test of parents' nerves and patience. This process may be accompanied by moodiness and poor sleep, intestinal disorders and fever. The latter does not always occur, but very often. The danger of fever is that parents, knowing that their daughter or son is teething or should be teething, do not always notice in time and miss the development of an infectious disease.

Therefore, if the temperature is above 38 degrees, lasts longer than 4 days, and the child constantly cries or, on the contrary, is very lethargic, you should show him to a pediatrician and possibly take tests. Temperature during teething can bother not only babies but also adults. We are talking about the so-called wisdom teeth. The bone and gums of an adult are no longer as elastic as those of a child, and the teething process can drag on for a month or more.
