- hormones of the mother, from which the child's organism is released;
- yeast-like fungi that colonize the baby's skin;
- sebaceous glands, whose work is not yet established.
The rash looks like pinkish or white spots.or balls. Sometimes they are noticeable only by touch. The rash spreads on the face, rarely moves to the neck and shoulders. A three-week rash is not considered a disease, so it does not require treatment. Parents should not wipe it with alcohol tinctures, herbal decoctions, ointments and, especially, give the baby any medications.
When the rash may still appear
Acne is not the only problem that canoccur in a baby. On the Internet, you can come across photos of babies with a rash all over their face and body. By uploading such photos, parents try to find answers on the Internet about what is wrong with their child. Reasons why a rash occurs:
- sweating - appears with a lack of hygiene;
- allergy - occurs on food, synthetic fabric, powder, cosmetics;
- infection, such as measles, roseola, scarlet fever, rubella, chicken pox;
- reaction to medicines.
Sometimes the rash may itch or hurt, contain fluid or pus inside. It is in your power to prevent the occurrence of heat rash and allergies. To do this:
- bathe your child every day;
- do not overheat it;
- let him take air baths for 5-7 minutes;
- use powder;
- do not eat prohibited foods for nursing mothers;
- wash clothes with baby powder;
- get shampoos and soap with the label "hypoallergenic".
In any case, the newborn should be showndoctor, especially if there are other symptoms - fever, severe itching, vomiting. Often, even a doctor cannot immediately distinguish a hormonal rash from an allergy, so he prescribes tests. If you find a rash on your baby, do not panic.
