Autumn has come to us, and this event is impossibleskip if you are a mother of a schoolchild. A new school year is ahead, your head is still spinning. It seems that the whole family is immersed in school worries. The endless choice of uniform, a pile of notebooks, and now homework checking. Sometimes it seems to you that you are simply bending under the weight of all these affairs and assignments. When you feel especially hard, remember the family I will tell you about now! The McCaughey family has already survived all the difficulties of school life. Back in May, their children graduated from school, celebrated their graduation, received diplomas in front of their proud parents. All seven children! Just think about it - seven twins! They can probably even be called septuplets, although I'm not sure that there is even a word for such a phenomenon. But all this might not have happened, the children might not even live to see their first birthday, that's what the doctors said. Photo posted by TODAY (@todayshow) on Sep 16, 2015 at 8:22am PDT

You're having twins!

Many parents of one baby, having enjoyed itinfancy and having overcome the first difficulties, they decide to have a second child. Of course, the news about twins in such a situation is a little surprising, you have to realize that you will not have two children, the family will immediately increase significantly. But it is difficult to even imagine what emotions Kenny and Bobby McCaughey experienced when it turned out during the first ultrasound that they could become parents of twins - septuplets! In fact, the couple always wanted several children, ideally three. But after the birth of their first daughter, it turned out that due to the mother's health, there could be difficulties with the birth of children. Doctors prescribed the woman infertility injections, which, as we can see, turned out to be more than effective. In such a situation, the question naturally arises: is it possible to carry and give birth to so many children? Doctors more than once offered the couple to undergo a selective reduction procedure - or, more simply, to have a partial abortion. But Kenny and Bobby, for religious reasons, firmly refused such interventions. The fact that they managed to successfully carry and give birth to seven children at once is a real miracle. The babies were born in November 1997, 9 weeks ahead of schedule. The couple had four boys and three girls. Since this event was truly unique, the family was personally congratulated by US President Bill Clinton.Photo: Getty Images

Contrary to the forecasts of doctors

Unfortunately, in families where twins are born, especially if there are more than three, the infant mortality rate is very high. Doctors warned the couple that it was unlikely that all seven children would survive. But they did. Not only did they get through the difficult first year, but they were all able to go to school, successfully graduated, and five of them have already entered college. The McCaughes are a rare case where all their children survived and were able to reach adulthood. Unfortunately, health problems did not bypass the large family. Two children were diagnosed with a very difficult diagnosis - cerebral palsy. But the family did not give up, they made every effort to maintain their health, and now both children have a future. Alexis graduated from school with honors and dreams of becoming a teacher. Nathan underwent a very complex spine operation, after which he learned to walk on his own. Now he is interested in molecular biology, which he wants to connect his life with.

Typical day

Photo: YoutubeHow does a young mother's day go?These are feedings, putting the baby to bed, walking, cleaning the house and cooking. Now let's imagine a day in the McCaughey family. Feeding 8 children is really difficult, Bobbi McCaughey admitted that cooking in the house is a continuous process, the stove and two microwaves are constantly heating, boiling, steaming something. And two dishwashers are endlessly washing pots, plates, frying pans. Two dishwashers? Maybe for someone it sounds like an excess, but in this family it is simply a necessity. As well as two washing machines, which are fully loaded with things every day and wash, wash, wash. According to the parents, when silence falls in the house - it is truly frightening! And imagine who and how can cope with ironing in a family of two adults and eight children?! A walk in such a situation can become a real test. How many strollers are needed, and how can a simple mother carry it all! In the photos from the family archive, we see a very unusual design in the form of strollers connected to each other, but it is difficult to imagine their weight and maneuverability. I am afraid that this does not compare with the modern, familiar to us, strollers-transformers for twins or twins.
