International Charity Day inspired the festival participants to join this event. The street theater festival today is a creative and social beginning. And, as it turned out, this is a very successful combination. The festival has been held in our city since 2012. Thanks to the Yaroslavl Festival, a legal organization, the Association of Organizers of Street Theater Festivals of Russia, appeared. This year, artists from three cities came: Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. These were street theater groups, circus troupes, magicians, and mimes. The street theater festival began with an incendiary performance by the Yaroslavl drum school. The musicians set the rhythm for the upcoming celebration of creativity. Then came the culmination of the event: a carnival procession along the Volga embankment. Mysterious mimes, skilled magicians, dashing circus performers, unusual musicians, and artists marched in a column, demonstrating their creative directions. The official opening of the festival, which took place at the Spartakovets stadium, was not without its events. The first day of the street theater festival ended with the greeting of all the artists to their audience. The next day, an equally rich program awaited all the spectators. However, in the morning, the artists first went on a tour of the city, stopping at the hospital to see children. And in the afternoon, the children's carnival procession started. The main event of the last day of the festival was the performance of the artists. Muscovite Dmitry Bibichkov showed his skill in driving a unicycle (a bicycle on one wheel). The dynamic atmosphere he created was picked up by the performance of drummers. Then the audience was entertained by mimes. The spectators were also interested in watching the performance of the psychological theater of interactions of special actors "Touch" from Yaroslavl. The festival program was completed by performances of street theaters from St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod, as well as the Moscow orchestra of carnival music. The atmosphere of eternal celebration and creativity created by the street theater festival will be remembered for a long time by Yaroslavl residents and guests of the city.
