What kind of child does not dream about abilitiessuperhero? Probably only the one who has never seen a movie about Batman or the League of Justice. Photographer Josh Rossi and his wife Roxana decided to make it possible to turn into a superhero for children with disabilities. And not just turn, but create a memorable "anchor". Looking at him, every child will remember that he really can be no less than Superman. To do this, Josh and Roxana gathered their League of Justice team.Photo: fulltimephotographer. The first was a five-year-old Kaidan, who was born with a severe pathology of development. Doctors warned his mother that it would be better for her to stop pregnancy. But she did not agree. Learning to walk, Kaidan began recently, when he bought prostheses. His legs had to be amputated immediately after birth. "He's still quite a kid, but decided to learn to walk on prostheses himself. Kaidan told his mother that he wants to cope with everything himself, that he is not helpless. I was amazed at the inner core of this little boy, "Josh said. Kaiden became Cyborg. He was crazy for happiness, the first time he saw the "cine" poster with his image. Now this poster hangs in Kaidan's room.Photo: fulltimephotographer.comPhoto: fulltimephotographer.comThe second participant is Sophie Loftus. When she was only three years old, the girl was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer - embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. Sophie always dreamed of having long hair. But radiation therapy put an end to her dreams. Despite the fact that she was practically without strength after the grueling procedures, Sophie posed simply perfectly. Her resilience amazed everyone who participated in the project. The girl became Wonder Woman.Photo: fulltimephotographer.comPhoto: fulltimephotographer.comTegan Pettit was born with half a heart. The family had to wait a long time for a donor organ. Teagan had a transplant. By the age of nine, the boy has already undergone three surgeries - and that's just open-heart surgery. He has to take handfuls of medication and sleep in an oxygen mask at night. Two years ago, he experienced clinical death. Teagan became Superman. After all, both of them have a weak spot - the heart. Besides, Teagan adores Superman. "Tegan's heart is actually made of steel. He greets every day with joy," says Josh.Photo: fulltimephotographer.comPhoto: fulltimephotographer.comTwo-year-old Matese Manuma, like Sophie, is battling cancer. He has a rare form of acute leukemia. The boy is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The little boy was so weak during the photo shoot that his brother had to help him take some poses. Josh and Roxanne turned Matese into Aquaman, the god of water.Photo: fulltimephotographer.comPhoto: fulltimephotographer.comThe fifth member of the team is seven-year-old Zayden Stallrow. Zayden loves to run, he has so much energy that his parents have already stopped paying attention to the teachers' comments about the boy's bad behavior. The thing is that the boy has a severe form of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Because Zayden cannot control himself, he is no longer invited to birthday parties, and is excluded from running competitions at school. And the boy loves to run so much... "His eyes have gone out. He has become almost an outcast," said Zayden's mother. And the boy has turned into Flash. Maybe now other children will stop avoiding him?Photo: fulltimephotographer.comPhoto: fulltimephotographer.comThe last member of the team is five-year-old Simon Fullmer. He has neuroblastoma. “Simon never complains. He’s very strong. And very curious. He needs to know everything, including what kind of procedures the doctors are doing to him,” said Simon’s mother, Trisha. Simon loves Batman. And Bruce Wayne, too. As Simon explained, “because he’s rich.” And Josh thinks Simon is the perfect Batman and a real hero.Photo: fulltimephotographer.comPhoto: fulltimephotographer.com
