When Josh posted a photo from the tattoo parlor, hesigned: "Getting a tattoo of Gabe. It hurt more the day we heard the bad news." The dramatic story began in March 2015, when 8-year-old Gabriel Marshall from Kansas was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor (anaplastic astrocytoma). The boy had to undergo surgery and treatment. Now the treatment is over, but Gabriel is still under the supervision of doctors. After the operation, the child was left with an impressive size on his head, because of which Gabriel felt like a "monster". But his father Josh did not lose his head and found a way to cheer up his son and rid him of his complexes. He also shaved his head and got a tattoo on his head that completely repeated the shape and outline of his son's scar. "My son was very embarrassed after the operation and felt like a monster. It was really upsetting to me, so I said, if people are going to stare at you, then they can stare at both of us," said the boy's father, Josh Marshall.
