How to find out the truth about a university It is important that the selected educational institution has a license to provide educational services and state accreditation (only it allows issuing state diplomas). You can find out about the availability of documents on the Rosobrnadzor website. You need to open the "University Map" tab, type the name of the institute in the search bar. Information will appear on whether the institution is state or non-state, the validity period of the license and accreditation will be indicated. Pay attention to the "Ban on Admission" column. It should not be applied. By the way, you should not hope that the situation will not change during the years of study. The educational institution can be deprived of its license and accreditation early if there are violations. That is why students need to constantly check the status of the university.
