The furniture in the background has a simple, even rough shape, and the color scheme is made up of simple flowers. But slightly different tableware was chosen for table decoration - this difference in style is the highlight of our festive table setting. And a variety of confectionery and jam found a place ... under the lid of a silver tureen! Using unexpected containers for table setting - another interesting decorating move. Photo: Vitaly Nefedov, Maxim Roslovtsev In addition to the soup tureen, you can use more familiar utensils for serving baked goods, such as silver, porcelain or glass vases. After all, the main thing is not the purpose of the serving item, but the convenience of the guests. Its height is quite enough for guests sitting on the sofa. And since the area of the tabletop is clearly not enough for all the dishes, some of them were placed nearby - on a bench covered with velvet fabric. The oriental table setting came together by itself - from the crystal and silver antique tableware available in the household. Photo: Vitaly Nefedov, Maxim RoslovtsevInstead of a tablecloth, the designer used a piece of fabric woven with patterns. This decision cannot but be considered successful, because finding a finished product suitable in all respects would have taken a lot of time and effort. Nevertheless, the table setting was approached with the utmost responsibility. Various types of cheese were placed under the lid of a low silver vase according to all the rules (cheese platter). And for each guest, two glasses were provided: a larger one for plain water and a smaller one for sweet wine.
