It's time for business

Table by the windowTable by the window

  • Photo 1, 2.The legs of the table are two panels connected by hinges, one of which is movable. To fold the table, you need to turn the movable part 180 degrees and lower the semicircular tabletop. The bottom of the legs is cut in steps so that when turning the panel scratches the floor less.
  • Photo 3.The lattice edge does not impede the movement of warm air coming from the radiator. In addition, it combines decorativeness with functionality: it covers part of the battery and prevents all sorts of small things from falling off the table.

If you work from home, then the desktop is the besta place by the window. But it is important that it does not clash too much with the rest of the living room furnishings, inopportunely reminding you of work when you want to relax. Our table is a folding structure equipped with a side in the form of a lattice panel. The white color was chosen for two reasons. Firstly, it matches the upholstered furniture and the bookcase standing nearby. Secondly, the smooth white surface reflects the sun's rays better, due to which sufficient insolation of the room is maintained.

Bench for books

  • Photo 1, 2.This country style bench is made of glued wooden panels and painted white. The seat can be made soft if desired, but it is better to use removable cushions with replaceable fabric covers.
  • Photo 3.The round holes in the high backrest are not just for aesthetics. In winter, when the heating is on, they help to circulate warm air better. For the same reasons, the bench is equipped with figured legs, rather than a solid base on a plinth.

You like to gather in one room with the whole familyor invite friends? Then put a comfortable bench with a curved back near the window. Dense rich red color of the walls does not excite, but, on the contrary, causes a feeling of coziness and solidity. Predominantly white furniture and textiles balance the color gamut.

«Eating at home»

  • Photo 1, 2. It makes sense to hang a height-adjustable lamp above the table. This is convenient, especially if meals tend to drag on until dark.
  • Photo 3. The design of the table is quite simple. It rests not only on forged legs, but is also connected at one end to a lattice panel covering the heating radiator. A slot is made in the central part of the panel specifically for this purpose, into which the edge of the tabletop is inserted.

Opting for a dining room combined with a living roomhas its advantages. Especially if the family consists of more than two people. And, of course, it is better to place the dining table by the window. Like, for example, in this room, which is very reminiscent of the terrace of a country house. Slightly muted sunlight pours in from the window, curtains. Wicker chairs are placed around the table with a forged base. Country-style accessories complete the picture: sconces on black forged brackets and a long shelf under the ceiling, filled with rustic utensils.

Heaven for flowers

  • Photo 1, 2.The table's design resembles a box on legs equipped with wheels. A rectangular opening in the middle of the tabletop provides access to the depths of the box. Plastic or ceramic flower pots are placed here.
  • Photo 3. The plants are easy to care for.The table's practicality is enhanced by the lower shelf, on which wicker containers with inventory are placed. It is not recommended to pour soil directly onto the bottom of the "box". Wood is not the most moisture-resistant material.

If the windowsills are too narrow and they are notput pots with plants, you can get out of the situation with the help of an original console table set to the window. The flowers placed on it, even very high, do not prevent opening the window. In our interior, this table is designed in a general style and painted white. The color scheme of the room is laconic, but not boring: white furniture against a background of saturated yellow walls and textiles. Strengthen the theme of nature help curtains, decorated with appliqués in the form of stylized tulips, and a mat of sisal.
