Bathroom
If your family consists of three or moreperson, then you should not combine the bathroom and toilet. This is not functional and will create inconvenience when suddenly everyone wants to visit the toilet or take a shower. But if you have a "double", then calmly carry out the planned redevelopment. It is better to leave the space under the bathtub open (you can make a screen, but in no case should it be closed tightly). You never know what kind of leaks you will encounter later, so it is better to have access to the pipes. Dark floors and dark tiles in the bathroom are a bad solution. Any dirt, every speck of dust and drops from the washing machine will be visible on it. You will have to clean them several times a day. Do you need it? To prevent water from accumulating in the bathroom (in the corners), when installing it, do not forget to install borders on the wall where it joins the tiles, otherwise you are guaranteed moisture. In the bathroom and toilet (wherever a lot of moisture accumulates), it is better to make a suspended ceiling. And if suddenly your neighbors flood you, you can be sure that all the water will remain in the ceiling, and will not spill throughout the apartment. Consider the possibility of installing underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. In winter, you will remember this advice with gratitude.

Kitchen
You shouldn't lay linoleum in the kitchen.Give preference to floor tiles: it is easier to wipe dirt off them, and they are more durable. The only thing is, do not use light-colored grout: over time, it will look untidy. You should also avoid laminate and parquet boards. The first leak, and you will have to redo the entire floor! Do not hang upper cabinets above the eye line. Believe me, this is inconvenient to use and terribly annoying. Consider placing fireproof materials near hot surfaces, otherwise there is a risk of ignition of flammable materials. If your layout provides for a division into a kitchen and a living room (or dining area), then focus on the arrangement of furniture and carefully measure the volumes where your tiles will run and the laminate begins. Please note that all fingerprints, dirt and stains are visible on stainless steel kitchen appliances. Think about whether you need to spend a lot of time cleaning them, or is it better to immediately look at other options? When choosing glass doors for cabinets, give preference to matte ones, otherwise all the contents will be visible. Do not skimp on roll-out mechanisms, do not make a corner dryer, do not put too small a sink, otherwise the dishes will lie in a mountain next to you on the countertop.
Living room
You shouldn't be guided by the principle:"I want the same as my neighbors." Why do you need another clone, especially one that is not always successful? It is better to use the advice of a designer or focus on your own preferences. Think several times before choosing painted walls (not wallpaper). Fingerprints remain on them, especially in the area of the switches. Therefore, if you have small children, then painting the walls is not an option at all. Before wiring the electricity around the apartment, draw a plan for the arrangement of furniture. Moreover, the plan should be final, without making adjustments. In this case, you will not have to move sockets / switches several times or buy a bunch of extension cords. Doors with a glass insert are, of course, beautiful, but they will interfere with sleep if, for example, you leave the light on in the next room. This is especially true for a child's room. When installing interior doors, check that the switches are next to the handle, and not on the hinge side. It is much more convenient. If you have a loggia or balcony, then do not be lazy and make a socket and lighting there. Believe me, you will need it. Do not get carried away with door handles with sharp corners: you can hurt your hand or tear your clothes if you touch them unsuccessfully. When replacing windows, it is better to choose those that have a micro-ventilation function and safe latches for children and animals.
