Breed Scottish Straight Photo:Evgeni Plushenko's Twitter posted a photo of a fluffy cat with the caption “My cat” on his microblog. Judging by the photo, Eugene is the proud owner of a Scottish Straight cat. In the comments to the photo, fans remembered that the cat's name is Pukhlik and that the skater took him as a kitten in 2007. In addition to Pukhlik's cat, Evgeni Plushenko also had a cat named Lyasik, who unexpectedly died in 2010. The skater and his wife Yana Rudkovskaya took the loss of their favorite very hard. According to Rudkovskaya, Pukhlik also suffered without Lyasika. Then the family decided not to have another kitten, and, apparently, Pukhlik is still the only pet of Plushenko and Rudkovskaya. Evgeni Plushenko is not the only star owner of a Scottish straight cat; a cat of the same breed lives with TV presenter Ksenia Borodina. Like Plushenko, Borodina is very attached to the animal and from time to time pleases fans with funny pictures of her Shante. Other Russian and Western celebrities often keep pets at home, but, remarkably, they tend to have dogs more often.
