Painting the facade of the houseIn addition to the aestheticThe main component of facade paints is a protective function: they protect the surface of the walls from destruction. Unfortunately, we do not live in the most favorable climate, rains and sharp temperature changes are not uncommon here. So it turns out that mineral facades slowly but surely "melt" - they are worn away by rain, snow, wind. Wooden walls simply begin to rot. In addition, brick, concrete and wood quite actively absorb water. Freezing, it increases in volume, and the internal stress of the facade material increases. The result of this process is cracks. Water penetrates through them even faster, and the process of destruction becomes uncontrollable. Facade paints are designed to delay its development for as long as possible. However, not all of them are equally useful. And by applying, for example, a material intended solely for finishing wood to a brick or concrete surface, we are throwing money down the drain. There are other points that are best understood before choosing a particular product. For example, what do the terms mean that paint and varnish specialists use so skillfully. It is better to immediately purchase and tint the required amount of paint. In addition, for complex facades, say, combining wood and stone, it is better to use one composition. This is the only way to avoid possible color differences.
