Photo:Roman Kuznetsov - When Dasha and Ksyusha changed schools, the question of housing closer to it arose (before that, we lived in another area of the Moscow region for 9 years). I searched long and painfully for a suitable option. I was ready to agree to the one that I didn’t really like, when suddenly the day before, when it was necessary to make an advance payment for the house, the realtor called at night and said: “Urgently look at another one, this is what you wanted.” I looked at the photos and thought: it can’t be, it’s too good, these are probably just pictures of a design project. But I decided to make sure. And when I saw it, I realized that in reality the house is even better. We came here for the first time in winter, got out of the car and just like in the movie “Home Alone”, when Macaulay Culkin’s character looks at the empty huge house before Christmas, froze with our mouths open. The picture appeared like a fairy tale: a mansion in the style of an Austrian chalet, surrounded by fir trees, snow falling in large flakes. The daughters immediately accepted and loved the new home, calling it a gingerbread house. For me, their opinion was a priority. The house has two floors, on the first floor there is a hallway that opens into the living room, a children's study where the daughters do their homework, a kitchen with a dining room and a room that we call the salon. It is probably our favorite, although it is quite small. Here we gather to chat, the girls play the piano, and sometimes even arrange evenings for me in the style of the nineteenth century: Dasha plays music, and Ksyusha dances and vice versa. The only reminder of real time is the phone, which I use to film them. From this room you can go outside, where there is a large terrace. There we like to have breakfast there when it is warm, play cards, dominoes. On the second floor there is a sleeping area: three rooms and a playroom, which used to be just a hall. We can't do without it, otherwise the children will destroy the whole house. The daughters live in one room, although initially each had her own, but at some point the girls put forward an official protest: "We will live together, and that's it!" The area around the house is small, but so well planned that there is a garden where you can run and play, and beautiful flower beds, and there was room for a jacuzzi. Today we took our first swim. Now we just need to buy some sun loungers, and we can sunbathe.
