Do-it-yourself floor lampTo work you need:
- bedside table "Korras" (IKEA),
- baluster, lampshade,
- decoupage and wood glue,
- sculptural mass,
- - suspension, electric plug,
- dark and light purple acrylic paint,
- brush, circular saw.
- Photo 1. Using a circular saw, make a groove in the baluster, the thickness of which is slightly greater than the thickness of the electrical cord.
- Photo 2-3. An electric cord is placed in the groove, after which the recess is filled layer by layer with sculptural mass.
- Photo 4. The baluster is painted light purple.
- Photo 5. The outside of the bedside table frame is painted dark purple, and the inside is painted light purple, to match the base baluster.
- Photo 6. An electric cord is threaded through the hole. The baluster is fixed to the surface of the nightstand using wood glue. Then a plug is connected to the wire.
- Photo 7. In the center of the top of the nightstand, make a hole for the electrical cord. The diameter of the hole should be slightly larger than the wire.
- Photo 8. The fabric is cut to the size of the lampshade, taking into account the allowances for hemming. Decoupage glue is applied to the surface of the lampshade and the fabric is secured.
