1. Get more juice from citrus fruits.Oranges and lemons taken out of the refrigerator will not yield as much juice as fruits that have been kept at room temperature or slightly warmed. Therefore, before placing citrus fruits in the juicer, heat them for 20 seconds. 2. Disinfect sponges for washing dishes. Do not throw away kitchen sponges that smell like rotten fish. Wet them in water with the addition of table vinegar or lemon juice and heat in the microwave for 1 minute. (It is best to use the oven mode.) In this way, we recommend disinfecting sponges that you used to wipe the table and boards, cutting raw meat and chicken. 3. Cook dinner in 10 minutes. Disinfect plastic cutting boards. First, wash the cutting board thoroughly, then rub it with half a lemon and then heat it in the microwave for 1 minute. 5. Cook the potatoes. You won’t be able to bake the potatoes until crispy in the microwave, but you will get a golden color in about 4 minutes. Prick all the potatoes with a fork and heat them in the microwave for 2 minutes. Turn the potatoes over and microwave for another 2 to 3 minutes. A general rule of thumb when cooking large quantities of food in the microwave is to check the food every 30 seconds.6. During this time, the volume of the dough will double. 8. Heat up cosmetics. If you heat up cold coffee in the microwave, why not use the oven for non-food purposes? Hot hair oil, face mask, depilatory wax – all of this can be heated in the microwave (just not in metalized packaging!). This is much faster and more ergonomic than using a “water bath” for this purpose. Before applying the product to your skin or hair, be sure to check with your finger how hot it is.9. Fry the nuts and .This procedure will take you four times less time if you use a microwave instead of an oven. Place the nuts or croutons on a flat plate and heat at maximum temperature for 2-3 minutes, remembering to stir every minute. Keep in mind that the nuts will continue to fry for a minute after you turn off the microwave. 10. Cook the vegetables. Are you waiting for the water to boil before throwing in the corn? In the microwave, vegetables are cooked without adding water! Place the vegetables in one layer on a wide plate, cover them with a plastic lid and turn on the microwave to maximum. Cooking time for different vegetables varies. You can check the spinach and mushrooms for readiness after 30 seconds, carrots - after 4 minutes.
