1. The plug

Original purpose:twisting spaghetti and catching the escaping mushroom on a plate. New use: use a fork to smooth out dents in the carpet. Such imprints are left by massive furniture - the higher the pile of the carpet, the more noticeable they are. Take a fork and smooth out the dents. The result: a smooth carpet surface (- doesn't count!).

2. Rice

Original purpose:a side dish for fried chicken and more. New use: coffee grinder cleaner. Pour a handful of rice grains into your coffee grinder and grind it: the fine particles will absorb odors and collect coffee residue. Remove the rice flour and wipe out the grinder container. The result: the pristine aroma of a freshly ground cup of coffee (just right after a hearty chicken and rice meal).

3. Corn flour

Original purpose:mamalyga, flatbreads and other national dishes. New application: remover of greasy stains from light-colored clothes and upholstery (what if you don't have any salt at home, but you have plenty of corn flour!). Sprinkle some flour on the stain, let it soak in for 15-30 minutes. Shake the flour off the clothes, and the upholstered furniture will have to be vacuumed. Result: cleanliness without a trace of stains.

4. Baby oil for massage

Original purpose: baby massage.New application: "massage" of chrome surfaces. Soak a cleaning cloth in cosmetic oil and wipe it over taps, handles and other chrome interior details. The result: shiny surfaces throughout the house - from the one lying in the baby's crib to the bathroom and kitchen.

5. Scotch tape

Original purpose:tape boxes, wrap wires. New application: protect walls and baseboards from marks left by the vacuum cleaner brush during intensive dust control. Stick tape along the edge of the brush - this will protect plaster walls and baseboards from impacts during vacuuming. The result: cleanliness without black marks.

  • More: scotch will cope with the dust on the shade

6. Toothpaste

Original purpose:restores pearly whiteness to teeth. New application: polishing scratched CDs. Squeeze a tiny drop of toothpaste (gel is not suitable!) onto a cotton ball. Rub it over the surface of the disc from the center to the edge, as well as along the scratch itself. Rinse the disc with water. Result: Your heart is not a CD, Frank Sinatra's voice will leave an indelible mark on it.

By the way: about a coup in the fate of a mop

Original purpose: sweeping the floor.New use: "Sweeping" the ceiling. Use the mop and cloth to collect cobwebs and dust from the corners of the room and from the moldings. The result: no more circus tricks like balancing on a wobbly stool with a cloth in your hands.
