A long winter turns into depression for cows. Because of this, milk yields noticeably decrease. We thought that if the cows were shown a video of alpine meadows, they would cope with stress faster and milk volumes would increase, the initiator of the experiment, Konstantin Lobzin, told journalists. Russian farmers did not spare money and bought six large plasma screens for the barn, which broadcast a picture of alpine meadows all day long, and soft music flows from the speakers. According to the organizers of the experiment, milk yields have increased significantly recently.  «In the group of cows that watch TV, milk yields increased by 30 liters in 15 days. But it is too early to say for sure, we need to wait for the experiment to be completed,» said Roman Dubrovin, chief veterinarian of the agrofirm. In addition to the cows that enjoy the visual series, there are also those whose eyes it was decided to protect - they only listen to music.
