This flash mob is held due to the fact that a plenary session will take place in the Moscow City Duma on May 5, at which the deputies, despite numerous protests, plan to consider in the third and final reading the draft General Plan of Moscow until 2025. As activists of the Moscow Council say, "the representatives of United Russia intend to smuggle the illegal General Plan through the Moscow City Duma, so we are forced to go to a protest action." It was not possible to agree on the holding of the picket with the Prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow, so the action will take place in the form of a flash mob. The participants in the flash mob will demand that the Moscow City Duma deputies not accept the scandalous draft of the General Plan in the third reading, but send this document for revision and new public hearings. Representatives of the Moscow City Council believe that at the moment the General Plan of Moscow is, and is contrary to the interests of the residents of the capital. If this project is approved, the process of destruction of the city will continue. The Moscow City Council notes that a large number of comments from residents of the city, sent as part of public hearings on the draft General Plan and PZZ, were ignored.
