Actually, the task set before the designerthe task of arranging two functional zones in one room does not seem particularly difficult. But this is only until you see the room awaiting redesign. The thing is that the window located on one of its long walls prevents the construction of a traditional partition with a doorway in the middle. This would require the creation of a new glazing structure and, as a result, complex . The problem was solved by inventing an unusual partition cabinet, accessible from both newly created rooms. Only the upper sections are used in the study, and the lower shelves in the bedroom. In addition, one side of the cabinet was painted red, and the other in a light cream, almost white, in keeping with the color scheme of the adjacent area. And finally (after we had selected the necessary contents for each room), we determined the location of the improvised partition - approximately in the middle of the room.
