Some favored European dairy desserts, as well as olives and capers. Galina Tregubova, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Public Services of the UR: “If we look at the statistics, we will see that the share of sales of local products is very high. 81% belong to dairy products of Udmurtia, 89% - to meat, 53% - to cheese and curd. The cheeses mentioned in your survey are considered premium goods and occupy a small segment. Most of them already have analogues, including the Udmurt ones. Yes, it is possible that the taste qualities are not so perfect, because different technologies are used. ”If something can disappear from the shelves for a while, these are exotic products, like blue cheese, which is hard to replace. However, negotiations with potential suppliers are already underway, and supermarket stocks will last for a month, if you do not start frantically sweeping them off the shelves. As for nuts, vegetables and fruits, the geography of their distribution is enormous. The same Polish apples can be replaced by Argentine, Uzbek, Chinese. There are many options. Fish and seafood can be purchased in the Far East. According to the deputy minister, the enterprises of Udmurtia, enterprises in other Russian subjects, and partners from the countries of the former Union are ready to increase their capacities for launching the necessary products, including brand new ones.

Basically, the price increase has affected the sphere of catering. The situation on its part was commented by Alyona Kruchinina, director of the RK Dynasty: “To say that the sanctions affected our work is not to say anything. Cheese, fruit, chicken have risen in price. It has been said more than once that the authorities will stop speculation. But so far there is, that is. Everything is good with meat products, you can be content with local goods and there are prospects for working with Brazil. The situation is worse with red fish and seafood. There are two options: either to change salmon for chum salmon and pink salmon, or to sell a reference dish at a correspondingly high price. But imported cheeses are our everything. It is logical that you have to look for local analogues. But which ones are not yet clear. ”

Alexander Soloviev is sure that new goods will appear in the stores, which will be in demand among the population. He also spoke about pricing: “We are tracking all these questions and are ready to fulfill the assigned tasks of keeping prices”.
