Remembering India
Bedroom interior design The leitmotif of the bedroom becameIndia. The bright colors used in the design will remind some of the traditional Indian women's sari, while others will remember exotic spices and incense. The room's furnishings are a thoughtful mix of Eastern and European furniture. There is a tall colonial chest of drawers used as a dressing table. Above it is a mirror in a wooden frame painted by Indian craftsmen. Or here is another piece of furniture, an elephant. With its help, the designer decided to pay tribute to Indian culture.
- Photo 1. In Indian culture, Buddha is a symbol of wisdom and peace. Every morning will begin with a meeting with a spiritual teacher who will help you find peace and tune in to the right mood.
- Photo 2.There is no traditional wardrobe in the bedroom. Linen is stored in a chest of drawers and drawers under the bed, and home clothes are on special hangers-hooks. You can change behind a mobile screen. And then just reach out and hang your robe or pajamas on one of the hooks.
- Photo 3. A large collection of candles is optimal in the Indian interior. A good place for her was the top of the headboard.
- Photo 4.There is little furniture in the bedroom, but it is used to the maximum. For example, a massive hand-made chest of drawers serves not only as a storage system. Its tabletop was turned into a dressing table and this solution was supported by a mirror in a wooden frame.
- Photo 5.The main colors of the interior - rich green and juicy pink - immediately take us to hot India. A little coolness is simply necessary for this room. Its source was the restrained white bed linen.
True, considering the area of the premises, this is trueThe animal was replaced by a smaller copy of it. The elephant figure serves as a support for the seat of a funny chair. The function of the bed is assigned to the orthopedic mattress placed on a metal base. The height of the latter allows you to place drawers for storing linen, blankets and pillows under the mattress. The headboard is a plasterboard structure painted in the color of the walls. An elongated window sill adjoins it. Another purpose of the multifunctional structure is to hide the heating radiator. Secret society
There is only one option for this interiorepithet – mysterious. The corresponding atmosphere is created by wallpaper and textiles of chocolate-brown color. Turquoise medallions, which seem to be woven into» the walls, and a small number of white details – a pair of candles, a rug on the floor, an openwork frame on the wall – soften the color scheme of the room, making it more refined. Furniture and accessories are selected to support the overall mysterious mood. The neutral bed is covered with a linen bedspread, in which the same color as the wallpaper predominates. And its headboard is decorated with tinted woven napkins. The antique cabinet resembles a French potbelly stove, and the chairs with thin carved legs and high backs resemble the furnishings of Gothic castles.
- Photo 1. Directly opposite the bed there is a seating area. A low table and two chairs are conducive to leisurely conversation over a cup of tea or coffee.
- Photo 2.The furnishings and accessories for the bedroom were selected based not only on style, but also on the materials from which the items were made. Preference was given to everything natural: wood, cotton, linen, ceramics, and wickerwork.
- Photo 3. Instead of a painting or photograph, an entire original composition was placed in an openwork wooden frame covered with white matte paint.
- Photo 4. This Chinese box is a good place to store family pearls or a pack of letters from an old admirer, tied with a silk ribbon.
- Photo 5.The traditional Chinese hot water bottle can also be used for its intended purpose, heating the space around the tea table. However, glowing coals are a rarity in modern urban housing, and therefore it is more often used as a sugar bowl.
The floor lamps are designed in the same style, located at the head of the bed and resembling either elegant statues or the posts of an old canopy. In the evening, the light falling from under their black lampshades plays out a whole performance. Only instead of the wings there is a wall, and instead of actors there are shadows. Another lamp is installed opposite the bed, in the tea area. It contributes to the privacy of the couple whispering about something incomprehensible.
