Living Room Design PhotoModern style, commonly referred to asmodern, requires a witty spatial solution that would bring originality to the environment, but would not be conspicuous. In our case, upholstered furniture and a dining group were arranged in autonomous zones, opposite each other. The entire room was visually divided across with the help of a low partition and a 240 cm long cabinet. Thus, we got a living room with a dining room. As for the soft corner, you can sit down with a meal in it at any time, if you decide to arrange a holiday with a buffet, or just watch TV with your family. It is better to place a small coffee table next to the armchairs and the sofa, which will make the atmosphere even more comfortable. A light yellow accent will suit the discreet modern furniture.

German country style

Photo 1. Place decorative bundles of brushwood on the sideboard; they can become lamps. A modern chandelier with halogen bulbs will create a relaxed mood in the living room area.
Photo 2.The dishes and napkins should be matched tone on tone, this is an essential requirement of strict German country style. The low white-painted sideboard with carving elements harmonizes with the mirror hanging above it (140 cm, 76 cm, 4.5 cm). The whimsical lamps in the form of bundles of brushwood are reflected in the mirror and remind us of walks in the fairytale Black Forest.
Photo 3.The cabinet with traditional-looking doors is decorated in the most modern way inside. The upper section is divided into two parts. You can put books on the shelf, and place a TV underneath them; it will fit both a flat screen and a 65 cm deep monitor. The lower part of the cabinet is designed for discs, a DVD player, and magazines.
Photo 4.A white dining table and unpainted wooden chairs were chosen for the dining area. Moreover, the furnishings allow the dining group to be rotated 90 degrees. Light beige curtains and pistachio fabric blinds are hung on the windows. A modern metal chandelier with curved elements is an interesting contrasting solution in a traditional interior.

We almost have the German country styleunknown, but it has undeniable advantages. First of all, you need furniture made of solid wood in natural shades or painted white. The shapes are the simplest and most straightforward. The furnishings look a little old-fashioned and give the interior a retro flavor, while creating a feeling of coziness and reliability. So, put high wooden chairs in the dining area, and rattan sofas in the living room. And be sure to use color accents. A light pistachio carpet, checkered and striped furniture upholstery, as well as blinds, napkins, and dishes of the same greenish hue are especially suitable for white.

Orange Color Design

Photo 1.The sofa is spacious enough, you can stretch out on it with pleasure. The window sill niche with radiators is covered with decorative screens. They are made of perforated metal sheet, which does not interfere with the free circulation of air. On the wide window sill it is convenient to place the necessary things - vases, books, etc.
Photo 2, 3. Orange.This makes the sofa more comfortable: the cushions do not slide off. And the tabletop of the coffee table has rotating elements. They are convenient not only when working with a laptop, but also during rest: they allow you to bring a cup of coffee or a glass of wine closer, and when necessary, move it away.
Photo 4. Color accents are present, as you can see, in the table decoration: fabric and paper napkins are selected to match the decoration of the entire room, in orange tones.

A stylish living room can be not only comfortable,but also bright. For example, in this interior, all the furniture is carefully grouped and, in addition, united by a color scheme. A sofa, wicker chairs, a coffee table, a display cabinet, shelves for books, small items and equipment, as well as a drawer covering the radiator, are located around a striped yellow-orange carpet and form a living room area. TVs are now so compact that a shelf only 25 cm deep is suitable for them. A large dining table with chairs represents the dining room. The color scheme of the furniture varies in shades. Bright and warm orange was chosen as the dominant color. Walls, curtains, blinds, sofa cushions, vases, chair covers - all of this is done in a ripe orange shade. It visually expands the room and at the same time makes it joyful and cozy. The chairs can be plastic, and removable covers will make them more attractive and comfortable. To avoid an excess of color, two neutral white lamps were hung above the table.
