Living roomLiving room designIn a large four-roomA family of five lives in the apartment - parents and three children. Their living room is divided into two zones: a work area and a rest area. Buying new furniture was not planned, and all changes had to be made by means of decor. The owners were pretty tired of the coloristic confusion, they wanted something more restrained, but not boring.

- Textiles play an important role here.Curtains, pillows, blankets, furniture upholstery, carpet - everything is in the same style and a common gray-beige color scheme. As for the pattern, preference was given to checkered and striped patterns
The primary colors chosen for the room are calm andnatural: a wide range of shades of brown and gray. For the walls, the decorator purchased wallpaper with floral ornament. In order to muffle the motley pattern, it was decided to glue the cloths indented, not end to end. This technique also hides the disproportionately elongated shape of the room. The living room relaxation area has a specialattention, the lion's share of the space is given to it. After work, you can lie on the sofa with a newspaper. Or you can drink a cup of tea, comfortably settled in an armchair under a blanket. The decorator came up with two, which she made with her own hands from two old ski poles (with a bamboo base). The curtain bracket, cartridges and wires were found at the owners. The hollow metal tube was purchased at a construction market, and the lampshades - at OBI. A round clock was hung on the wall between the lamps. The double-leaf interior door was left the same. The recreational area is separated from the work area by two low shelves. Above them, the decorator also .The window is decorated with thick fabric and light tulle (forsalvation from prying eyes during the day). Two types of curtain fabric were used to make thick curtains: plain gray and brown checkered. The hostess works in this part of the room. So there is nothing superfluous here. And the furniture is only the most necessary: a table, a chair, a bench and two shelves for books and papers on both sides of the window. They decided not to throw away the chairs, but only . For this, they chose fabric in a large check with a heraldic pattern. It was very important here to maintain the symmetry of the complex pattern. Everything in this living room breathes coziness and peace. The old pieces of furniture have noticeably improved and, most importantly, are in perfect harmony with the rest of the room's decor. The sofa has acquired a completely different, noble look thanks to the new blanket and pillows. This is what happens when a real professional takes on the job. Living room planMaster classes
