Is a microwave harmful? And here are the Spanish onesResearchers are indignant that, as they have found out, broccoli, cooked in a microwave oven, loses up to ninety-eight percent of the vitamins and microelements it contains. The first experiment, during which scientists wanted to find out what effect food cooked in a microwave oven has on the human body, took place back in 1989 under the supervision of Swiss biologist Hertel and Professor Bernard Blank. Since the state refused to finance the study, the scientists were forced to observe only one participant in the experiment, who first ate food cooked on the stove, and then - food cooked in a microwave oven. The researchers found that after eating from a microwave oven, the number of leukocytes in the blood of the participant in the experiment increased sharply, a process similar to the development of blood cancer began. The cause of this disease could be precisely the consumption of food cooked in a microwave oven, the scientists claimed. But no one paid any attention to the results of their study. The World Health Organization established earlier this year that the radiation emanating from a microwave oven does not cause any harm to food or human health. There is only one contraindication - people with implanted pacemakers should avoid using microwaves, as pacemakers react negatively to microwave flows.
