Adherents of the method of determining the sex of the child by ovulation also accept the view that the egg itself "chooses" the sperm necessary for itself, passing it through its shell. According to this theory, the planning of the sex of the baby should occur as follows: if the child wants to give birth to a woman, the woman must have sexual contact before the onset of ovulation, if she dreams of a girl, conception should occur immediately after her. It is impossible not to mention the statements of scientists who believe that the fertilization of the egg after 24 hours of her life is undesirable. In their opinion, the egg is susceptible to the aging process, and a child of any gender, conceived under similar conditions, can have birth defects. It is not excluded and the probability of miscarriages or premature birth.

Methods for measuring basal temperature

In order to have reliable data, it is necessary to draw up a special schedule, where daily measurements are recorded. When measuring basal temperature, you should follow certain rules:

It should be borne in mind that various factors can affect the indications: sleep less than 5 hours, taking medication, sexual intercourse before measurement, cold and poor health. It is not recommended to measure basal temperature when traveling to hot countries and sudden climate change. This will necessarily affect the reliability of the testimony. Carrying out the planning of the sex of the child by the method of onset of ovulation, all the above factors should be taken into account. A mistake in one day can lead to the opposite result, when instead of a long-awaited boy a girl will appear, and vice versa. More precisely, the onset of ovulation can be determined with the help of ultrasound. But such a study should be conducted every day for at least 10 days, which is quite difficult.
