Preliminary preparation

But, let's hope that you will not need to call these numbers and everything will go well. Secondly, stock up on a set of necessary medications. Check the first aid kit and replenish its composition, which should include:
- a bubble of liquid zelenki (a green-pencil in this case will not work);
- the smallest (children's) syringing;
- levomecol (ointment);
- scissors;
- acrylic or silk threads;
- medical alcohol or vodka (not for you, but for puppies!);
- soothing (this is already for you).
In addition, you will need clean sheets anddiapers (which can then be discarded), a hot-water bottle (possibly electric) or a pair of plastic bottles, a capacious box (where you can put six or seven newborn puppies). Some dog owners have successfully used a heated blanket instead of a warmer and say that it is much more convenient. If possible, then make a playpen for mom and kids. It should be a low box with sides, in which the dog could lie, stretched out to its full height. In special arenas there is still a small gap between the bottom of the box and the lower part of the sides so that the dog does not press the pups against the walls. If such an arena was not acquired or produced, then simply prepare a place for the dog on the floor, with a blanket (foam mattress), a medical oilcloth and sheets.
Preliminary manipulation
Pregnancy in the dog lasts 58-68 days. And it can grow in earnest at the most inappropriate time for you, for example, at night or when you are at work. Therefore, at the beginning of the proposed birth, take two or three days off time off and be prepared not to miss this crucial moment. Childbirth
Before the appearance of the puppy, attempts begin, a loop(vulva) becomes loose and elongated. You will see how the cramp passes through the body of the dog, and water is poured from the loop.
