We decorate the vase: decoupage on glass

You will need an unremarkable glassvase, three-layer napkin with flowers, wide brush, acrylic lacquer, white rice paper, scissors, water, acetone and sandpaper. First of all, it is necessary to prepare the surface of the vase for the upcoming decoupage. To do this, it must be thoroughly degreased with acetone. Now the entire surface of the vase must be primed with acrylic primer. Especially economical can instead put on the glass acrylic lacquer, it will serve as a primer. The next step is to decorate the whole vase with rice paper. First we tear (it's tearing, not cutting, it's important!) Small pieces and glue them to the surface of the vase. If the surface is convex, it is better to tear the paper slightly from above and below, so that it fits snugly. Leave our decor dry. After our workpiece has dried, we clean all the irregularities that have been obtained with sandpaper. If you did not manage to do it accurately, it does not matter. Glue the gaps with rice paper and acrylic lacquer. We take a pre-selected napkin and with the help of peeling we remove two white layers, we do not need them. The color part is cut into several pieces to avoid the formation of excess wrinkles, and cut out the pattern. We pass to the most important stage: we decorate the vase with a napkin. There are two ways to paste the surface: you can immediately glue the napkin with acrylic lacquer, but if the experience in your decoupage is small, it is better to first stick the napkin with water, and after it has dried, open the finished product with varnish. Try not to rush and put a napkin as smooth as possible. You, of course, can sand the irregularities after drying, but the pattern can be spoiled. After the vase is pasted with napkins and covered with acrylic lacquer, our decoration can be considered finished. Only wait until the varnish dries completely before using the product for its intended purpose. Such a vase with decor can serve as an excellent gift for your loved ones.

A very simple way to decorate a vase: a mosaic of beads

Such decor of the vase with its own hands looks veryoriginally. It's better if vases with a mosaic are round, but this is unprincipled. You will need glass balls (monochrome or multi-colored - at your discretion), glue or thermo-gun, gypsum. The whole procedure does not take much time. Cover the glass with glass balls starting from below and gradually rising upwards. If the beads are of unequal size, try to select them in such a way that the space between them remains as small as possible. When the vase is completely pasted with beads, you can leave it in this form, it already itself becomes an excellent decor for the room, but we continue. Prepare the gypsum and apply it to the outside of the vase, completely covering the beads. After leveling the surface, peel the beads from the gypsum with a soft cloth and put the vase to dry. The finishing touch is that we apply acrylic lacquer on the entire surface of the vase, this will help to save the gypsum when water gets on it. decorate the vase with your own hands

Decoration of a vase with lace

The vase, decorated in this way, becomesvery gentle, and no one will remember that before she looked different. Take an old vase and paint it with gold paint. In principle, you can choose a different color, focusing on your preferences, and the interior where it will be. After the paint has dried, take a piece of any lace fabric and tightly wrap it around the vase. At the top near the neck cloth or knot, or fasten with a rubber, it is important for us that in the future the lace does not move. Now take a can of paint of a different color (preferably lighter than the base) and paint again our vase. We do this carefully, trying not to move the lace from the spot. We remove the fabric after the paint has completely dried. At the finishing stage, we finish with the paint that we had for the base, the border of the upper and lower edge of the vase. Everything, original and beautiful decoration is ready! Remember, there are two main elements for decoration: your fantasy and glue. Excellent looking vases decorated with natural materials: twigs or sticks. Plant the branches on the principle of standing pencils on hot glue, and remove excess in length. It takes quite a bit of time spent, and in your interior there will be a new work of art.
